Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humberside Mental Health Services are seeking to appoint a Social Worker to join our Intensive Community Therapies Team.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic social worker to work in a dynamic community setting. The Intensive Community Therapies provides intensive packages of care to Adults of working age who suffer from a range non-psychotic mental health problems and who have high levels of need.
The team has significant input from the Psychology Therapy Service. This involves providing evidence based treatments, and supporting individuals to make sense of the impact of their illnesses and carry out assessments of social care needs.
You must demonstrate a flexible approach, working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, with the responsibility of a caseload, across Adult, Statutory and voluntary sector services. The service ethos is focused on recovery and social inclusion therefore offers successful applicants an exciting and demanding opportunity to work towards lessening the impact of the illnesses.
You will be a qualified Social Worker and AMHP with appropriate demonstrable experience in mental health. You will need to have access to transport and have experience of working within the CPA Framework. Most significantly you should be able to demonstrate evidence of supporting people with a range of non-psychotic conditions.
