DWP – new Fraud and Error Strategy
The proposed move to make the DWP responsible for attacking housing benefit fraud appears to be based on a one-sided proposal. One which seems to ensure employment in areas of the DWP at the expense of Local Authority staff – and, incredibly, at the expense of the tax payer since benefit fraud will run wild if the DWP lives up to its usual achingly low performance standards.......
